Once in a blue moon, I will do something completely sporadic and it will just blow me away. That so happened, five minutes ago. I got my very first Birchbox. For those of you who do not know what Birchbox is, its a $10 a month subscription where the makers of birchbox send you random products such as perfume, hair products, make-up, skincare, etc that they find that they think will match your personality. You start by filling out this very short, but very helpful survey which helps the makers of birchbox choose what to put in your box.

It all started with my cousin Cassie, who is a subscription junkie. No really, she is. I am sure there is a 12 step program for folks such as her. Anyways, she posts about this perfume she got that she absolutely loved out of her Birchbox. Every month that girl is posting about her love of the products she finds in her box. So, I had to give it a shot! And, it did not dissapoint! My first box was chock full of some amazing products, that I cannot wait to get more of!

What did I get in my first box?
Bain de Terre- An AMAZING color perserving shampoo & conditioner, that makes a person feel like they just walked out of a salon. (Paraben-free blend of argan and mooi oils nourishes strands while keeping color vibrant)

Joan Vass L’eau de Cristal- an amazing smelling fragrance!! A blend of bergamot and musky patchoili

Previse Hydromilk- Hello. Have you ever felt skin so smooth and healthy? Try this out! Seriously! Lightweight hydrator that floods skin with antioxidants- but zero parebs or synthetics!

Ruby Wing Color Changing Nail Polish in Ride ‘Em Cowgirl — How innovative? Sparkly gold inside, and red sparkly outside LOVE!

So how easy is it, really? Simply go to the Ipsy Website and join for free! Then, when you complete a short beauty survey, you will be asked if you want to get on the waiting list for this amazing subscription service, and receive beauty in a bag for only $10 a month! The best part, many say that the samples you receive in Ipsy are much larger, or even full size products. What is the difference between Ipsy and Birch Box? A lot of my friends joined the Ipsy wagon and just love it, but why? Because Ipsy provides an opportunity for fashionistas to try out new products that they wouldn’t normally try. They provide make-up and skincare and so much more in an easy, $10 a month subscription. And the best part? Their website is perfectly interactive for the fashionista. Find styles and trends and share styles and trends. I give it in A!
