Meet your Daily Water Intake!
In any weight loss or diet plan, drinking water is key. According to Donald S. Robertson, M.D, “Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize stored fat… helps maintain proper muscle tone by giving muschles their natural ability to contract and prevents dehyrdation.” So as you can see, drinking water is kind of a big deal! 😉
So here are some tips that I have found on the web and use daily!
- Carry around a water bottle everywhere you go. Make sure it is easy to reach, and always full!
- Some people drink water best when its cold. Keeping it on ice or a cooler with you is another wonderful idea!
- Drink 2-3 glasses of water BEFORE drinking soda or eating junk food. It helps suppress your appetite and curb those cravings!
- Keep a Daily Water Intake Journal! (Keep an eye out on our blog, we have one coming soon!) Record your daily intake and reward yourself for meeting your daily goals!
- Have a glass of water with you in the oddest places; taking a bath, in the car, at work. Drink Drink Drink!
